How to Buy
Find Your Item
Use the search bar or browse by category. Filter by price, condition, location, and seller rating to narrow down exactly what you're looking for. Save searches to get notified when new listings match.
Review the Listing & Seller
Check all photos, the item description, and condition notes carefully. Review the seller's profile — look for the Verified badge, their rating, and past transaction history before proceeding.
Message or Make an Offer
Have questions? Use the in-app chat to ask the seller directly. Ready to buy? Tap Buy Now to pay the listed price, or Make an Offer to propose your own price. The seller typically responds within a few hours.
Confirm & Pay Directly
When you place an order, Nexus records it and notifies the seller, who has 72 hours to accept. Payment is settled directly between you and the seller — Nexus does not hold, escrow, or transfer the money for the work itself.
Receive & Confirm
After the seller completes the work, inspect it and mark the order complete in the app. If something is wrong, open a dispute — a Nexus admin mediates the resolution between you and the seller per our refund policy.
Buyer Safety Protocols
Direct Settlement — No Hidden Hands on Your Money
You pay the seller directly; Nexus never holds or escrows marketplace funds. What you pay for is clear: the work, at the listed price. (Nexus’s subscription fee covers marketplace access separately — see the <a href="/terms">Terms of Service</a>.)
Verified Seller Network
All sellers undergo identity verification and agree to our marketplace policies. Check for the blue Verified badge and read recent reviews before buying.
Item Not as Described Policy
If what you receive doesn't match the listing, open a dispute in the app. A Nexus admin reviews evidence from both parties and mediates a resolution. Because buyer–seller payment is settled directly (not through Nexus), an upheld claim binds the seller to make good the issue under our refund policy; sellers who refuse can be suspended.
Safe Exchange Points
For in-person collections, use a Nexus Safe Exchange Point — well-lit, public, monitored locations. Never meet a seller at a private residence you don't know.
Report Suspicious Listings
See a listing that looks too good to be true? Hit Report Listing and our team will investigate within 12 hours. Your report is anonymous.
