Nexus Freelancing LLC respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects everyone on the marketplace to do the same. This policy explains how rights holders report infringing material, how accused users can respond, and what happens to repeat infringers.
Only post, list, upload, or deliver content you own or have permission to use — text, images, logos, designs, code, music, video, portfolio items, and the deliverables you sell. Using someone else's work without a valid right (ownership, licence, or a legal exception) can get the content removed and your account sanctioned, and can expose you to claims from the rights holder.
The fastest route is the in-app report control on the listing, profile, review, or message concerned — choose the IP option where offered. For formal copyright notices (or anything you cannot reach with the report control), email contact@nexus-freelancing.com with subject line “IP Notice” and include, so far as you can:
These elements follow the practice of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). A notice that is missing key elements may take longer to act on while we ask you for the missing parts.
If you believe material of yours was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification — for example, you own the work, hold a licence, or your use is a legal exception — reply to the removal notice in-app or email contact@nexus-freelancing.com with: your contact details, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement of your good-faith belief that the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts identified in the Terms of Service for any dispute about it. Where the notice and counter-notice conflict, we may restore the material unless the complaining party shows within a reasonable time that they have started proceedings; we will tell both sides what we decided.
Nexus operates a repeat-infringer policy: accounts that are the subject of multiple valid infringement removals — or one serious, intentional infringement such as selling counterfeit goods or pirated deliverables — are suspended and, where appropriate, terminated, in line with the Marketplace Rules and the Terms. IP violations discovered mid-transaction leave the order record intact for dispute review: a seller suspended for infringing deliverables still owes buyers the remedies recorded on their orders.
The Nexus name, logo, design, and site content are the property of Nexus Freelancing LLC. Users keep ownership of what they post and grant Nexus the limited licence described in the Terms of Service to display and process it in operating the Service. Nothing on the platform transfers any IP to anyone except as a buyer and seller agree between themselves in their own contract.
This policy focuses on copyright, but the same reporting routes work for other IP issues — trademarks, passing-off, design rights, or counterfeit goods: use the report control or the IP-notice email above and identify the right you rely on. For non-IP disputes between buyer and seller (quality, delivery, payment), use the order dispute process instead — it is the faster, correct tool.
